Giving back to the community, one sip at a time!

It's hard to believe more than two years have passed since Café JAYA opened its doors on James B Rivers Drive, embracing a community who has embraced us.  We are truly humbled.

Our move to 947 Main Street took longer than expected but well worth it.  We have the same warm, quirky, eclectic and fun atmosphere as our original building.  Some of the changes are a full bar and 23 beers on tap!  We even put our popular 17 hour cold brew coffee on nitro!

We're often asked about our name, Café JAYA.  "JAYA" is an acronym for Just As You Are - it's the credo that we live by, accepting you for being you and all those who walk through our front door.  It's about patience and tolerance in an ever changing, often chaotic world in which we live.  Café JAYA is simply a place where you can go and be yourself among an amazing community of diverse individuals.

Just recently, Café JAYA was bestowed "Best Coffeehouse in Atlanta" by The Georgia Voice and we couldn't be any more prouder of this award and we have our friends and customers to thank for such an achievement in such a short time.

We are a non-profit organization that is honored to give back to the community one sip at a time.   We proudly support three organizations that we feel very strongly about including AARF Pet Central, Community Connections and Side by Side Brain Injury Clubhouse.  Each one of these causes is unique and provides needed services not only to Stone Mountain but the greater Atlanta area as well.  You can learn more about each of them below.

We invite you to drop by and take in the unique vibe that is Café JAYA.  We are Stone Mountain Village's Community Community Coffeehouse!  Mingle and chat with locals and visitors alike.   Café JAYA is never the same place twice so come as you are, Just As You Are.

"Coffee leads men to trifle away their time, scald their chops, and spend their money, all for a little base, black, thick, nasty, bitter, stinking nauseous puddle water."
